Can I get service with JOLT Wireless if a number is not offered in my area?
When activating your phone instantly online, or by phone. If a local number is not available in your ZIP code you may enter another ZIP code nearest to you. The JOLT Wireless phone will then be activated with a number local to that ZIP code. Since there are no roaming or long distance fees you have nothing to worry about. However, people that call you could possibly incur long distance charges. Also, you may incur long distance charges for accessing your JOLT Wireless voice mailbox from a landline phone.

Are there additional charges for long distance calling?
JOLT Wireless doesn't believe that you should be charged just to stay in touch with your family and friends around the country. In fact, we don't think you should be charged to stay in touch with family and friends around the world either. That's why you'll never be charged additional fees to make calls to anywhere in the United States.

Are there additional charges for roaming anywhere I travel in the United States?
A mobile phone should be...well, mobile. With JOLT Wireless you'll never be charged for being mobile. You are free to make and receive calls anywhere on the JOLT Wireless Nationwide Network with no extra charges 24/7/365. For a network coverage map click here.

When someone leaves me a voice message does it use any of my minutes?
No, your account will not be charged for messages left on your voice mail. However, you are charged standard airtime for checking your voice messages from your JOLT Wireless phone. A good idea to conserve your minutes is to check your voice messages from a land line (home or business phone).

How long do I have to use my airtime?
Airtime is good for 90 to 365 days after the reload, based on the reload value. To extend your expiration simply reload airtime before current expiration period on your account. All your airtime will then carry over to the new expiration date.

How will I know how much time I have left on my account?
As a JOLT Wireless customer, you have the following five tools to help assist you in managing your account balance:
What phones are compatible with JOLT Wireless?
Service only works for unlocked tri-band/quad-band GSM 850/1900 frequency phone. If your carrier is Cingular or AT&T then you may use a locked GSM phone.
If you have any other carrier then you must use an unlocked GSM phone.

How do I make a phone call using JOLT Wireless?
How do I setup my voicemail?
To set up your Voice Mailbox:
1. Dial your wireless number from your wireless phone.
2. The voicemail system will welcome you to your voice mailbox for the first time.
3. The system will ask you to enter your personal passcode (this should be an easy to remember passcode between 4 and 8 digits).
4. You now have the option to require your passcode to be entered when checking your voicemail from your handset (passcode skip off). By default your passcode is not required (passcode skip on).
5. The system will ask you to reenter your personal passcode.
6. The system will ask you to record your name and approve it.
7. The system will ask you to record your greeting and approve it.
To listen to your voice messages:
From Your Handset
1. Dial your wireless phone number.
2. If passcode skip is enabled your new messages will play automatically. If passcode skip is disabled, enter your passcode followed by #.
From Another Handset
1. Dial your wireless phone number from any touch-tone phone.
2. Wait until the voicemail system answers, then press * to interrupt the greeting.
3. Enter your passcode followed by #.
4. The system will automatically play any new voice messages.

- Audible Balance Message: Dial 611 and choose option 2 at any time to hear your current balance for free.
- Low Balance Message: Once your account reaches $2.00 or less, starting with the next outgoing call you make, you will receive an audio message reminding you to reload. This message plays on the first outgoing call you make each day (Midnight - 11:59 p.m.) that your balance is at or below $2.00.
- Near Expiration Message: When your airtime is within 5 days of expiring, you will receive an audio message reminding you to replenish.
- Low Balance Tone: When your account does not have enough value to continue an existing call, you will hear a reminder tone 30 seconds before your airtime runs out, at which time the call will be terminated.
What phones are compatible with JOLT Wireless?
